Bear Den RV Resort Offers Great Amenities and a Perfect Location
Traveling with your RV and camping through Idaho can be a great experience, and you will discover a number of excellent places where you can stay. One of the most popular and nicest resorts in the area is Bear Den RV Resort. The resort is less than a mile from the town of Grangeville and only about 70 miles from Lewiston. Campers will find that the fun and clean RV resort offers some nice amenities for them to enjoy, and it has a great location that makes visiting many of the outdoor attractions in the state quite easy. Bear Den RV Resort is open year round.
Amenities at Bear Den RV Resort
The resort offers 34 RV spaces measuring 80′x30′, and all of them are pull-thru sites. This makes it easy for you to maneuver your vehicle into and out of the spots. The spaces are full hookup sites with water, sewer and electric with 20, 30 and 50 amp connections. They have an onsite dump station for your convenience as well. The wide roads that cross through the resort are large enough that you will be able to turn your RV around with little trouble. In addition, they have 4 camping cabins available. All of the cabins have air conditioning, heating and a table. You will find tent spaces available too.
Wireless Internet is available throughout the park and at the modem port in the clubhouse. The onsite bathrooms are very clean and modern. The bathrooms and the showers are private as well. Campers will also be able to use the onsite laundry facilities. Meeting rooms are available as well.
Campers will be able to play horseshoes, take the kids to the playground, go walking and jogging and shop at the onsite store for convenience items and RV supplies. You will find a propane filling station at the campground as well. Pets are welcome at the campground. They even have an off leash area for dogs. When your dogs are not in the off leash area, make sure you keep them on a leash and always clean up after them.
Directions to Bear Den RV Resort
The campground is ¾ of a mile south of Grangeville on Highway 95 at Fish Hatchery Road. The entrance is on Fish Hatchery Road and you should be able to see the signs leading you right to the resort.

Local Attractions
Those who choose to stay at Bear Den will find quite a few interesting spots to visit during their vacation. If you enjoy fishing, you will be happy to know that the Salmon River and Snake River are only a short distance away. The rivers offer some great fishing opportunities for you. Check out the Mammoth Exhibit located on Highway 95. You will be able to see the unearthed and erected skeleton of a wooly mammoth. Visitors should also visit the downtown area of Grangeville. The town offers some places to shop and dine as well as a movie theater.
