Winter and Summer at the Beaver Creek Resort

Are you looking for a great year round resort and RV park for the next family trip? Beaver Creek Resort in Gaylord, MI is a beautiful and fun choice with plenty of features and amenities that set it apart from other parks. The campground is open throughout the year, and that means that you will be able to go camping in the winter and partake in all of the fun winter activities at the resort. Something that you need to keep in mind if you are going to be camping in the winter is that the water at the RV sites will not be on during that time. However, the water at the bathhouses will still be running.

What Does Beaver Creek Offer in Amenities and Features?

The campground area has 64 sites, including large wooded sites for RVs. The sites are all quite spacious so you never feel cramped. You will be able to choose from RV sites that are full hookup with water, electric and sewer as well as partial sites that have only water and electric.

The resort features a nice clubhouse with a fireplace where you and your family or friends will be able to relax and get warm. This is especially nice for those who want to go winter camping and want to escape the chill. The resort also features a heated indoor swimming pool, a sauna and a Jacuzzi. Kids and adults will have a great time in the game room and on the tennis courts.

The resort part of the campground offers even more great amenities. There is a 200′ waterslide, an 18-hole golf course and an 18-hole mini-golf course. You will be able to do your laundry at the onsite laundry facility and even use the tanning booth that is onsite. You will find plenty of great things to do in the summer and the winter.

You may bring your pets to the resort. Make sure that you keep your pets on a leash and always clean up after them. After all, you want to keep the park looking as beautiful as it was when you arrived.

Getting to Beaver Creek Resort

From the I-75, take the Old 27 Exit (#279). Travel south to the first stoplight and then turn right onto Otsego Lake Drive. Proceed down this road for about 3.5 miles and you will find the camp on your right.

Local Attractions

No matter the time of year you visit the campground, you will find great things to see and do in the area. Those who are coming in the winter will discover a number of places to go skiing and to ride snowmobiles. Head into the city of Gaylord and check out the herd of elk at the Gaylord Elk Park. You should be able to get some nice photos of the elk. If you have some kids, you will want to take them to the Gaylord Discovery Center. The center is a hands-on museum where kids will be able to learn more about the world around them.
