North Carolina has a number of great places to stay if you are an RV Enthusiast. Of course, you want to have a campground that features all of the amenities you need and yet still retains a rural flavor. If that is the type of campground you need Camp Inn is a wonderful place to choose for your next vacation destination. The campground is located very close to Bryson City. They have wonderful amenities that will make your stay nice and easy, and they have a location that you just can’t beat right along the Nantahala Whitewater River. The campground is open from April 15 to October 15 each year.
Camping Amenities at Camp Inn
When you come to the campground, you will find sites that are right on the river as well as off river sites. They have 6 sites that are right on the river, and all of the sites are large enough to be able to accommodate most RVs regardless of size. They offer 30-amp hookups for electric and they have water and sewer hookups as well.
Each of the sites has a stone fire ring so you can cook outside of just sit around the campfire and tell stories at night. They have picnic tables as well. In addition to the RV sites, you will also find tent sites available. Guests who don’t have an RV and who don’t want to sleep in a tent will be able to rent one of the cabins.
The rural setting makes for a great camping adventure. You are allowed to bring your pets with you to the Camp Inn, but you must make sure that you keep them on a leash. It is also important to clean up after the pet so you can help keep the camp clean for other guests. Each Saturday night from April to October, the campground features fireside worship services, and you are welcome to attend.
Directions to the Camp Inn
The campground is located just 16 miles west of Bryson City along Highway 74/19. Once you pass the Nantahala Outdoor Center on the side of the road with the river, just 1.5 miles, you will see the campground. It is located across from the Nantahala Inn.

Local Attractions
You are going to find that the area is just full of great things for the family and friends to see and do. One of the most exciting and accessible attractions in the area is the river, and you can go whitewater rafting on it easily. You are even within walking distance of one of the area's whitewater outfitters.
Check out Bryson City too. This friendly town exudes small town atmosphere. You will be able to find some interesting places to go in the town, and you can find some great places to shop and grab a bite to eat. You might also want to visit the Cherokee Heritage Museum and Gallery, which is only a short distance from Bryson City in the town of Cherokee.
