Park Your RV at Carolina Landing for a Great Vacation
South Carolina has some beautiful places to visit, and the area around Fair Play is one of the nicest. It’s near the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and offers plenty of things for outdoors lovers to enjoy. When you are traveling with your RV, you will want to stay at Carolina Landing, an Encore Resort that features some wonderful amenities that campers will surely appreciate. One of the nice things about this campground is that it is open year round.
Amenities at Carolina Landing
Located on Lake Hartwell, the campground features 311 sites for RVs. The spacious sites are large enough to hold RVs that are up to 45′ long. They have water and electric sites as well as full hookup sites for water, sewer and electric. The sites offer 30 and 50-amp electrical connections. You will be able to find back-in sites as well as pull-thru sites. Some of the sites have shaded and wooded views and others are near the lake. Satellite reception is quite good at some of the sites.
Campers will be able to use the onsite laundry facilities to keep their clothes nice and clean while they are on vacation. They will also find clean restrooms and showers. Carolina Landing has a dump station on site for your convenience, and they sell LP gas. The park offers lighted streets for your safety.
Campers will be able to enjoy the outdoor pools at the campground. They have kids pool as well. You can play basketball, horseshoes, mini golf, pool and more. The kids will enjoy the playground, and you will enjoy the onsite video rentals. If you want to keep in shape while on vacation, you can head to the exercise room. Go fishing in the lake, relax in the recreation center or take your furry friends to the dog run.
How to Reach Carolina Landing
When you are coming from the I-85 South, take Exit 4 left, and then take an immediate right and follow Frontage Road in front of the truck stop. Proceed through the stop sign and you will see the entrance on your left. When you are coming from the I-85 North, take Exit 4 and then an immediate right from the ramp in front of the truck stop on Frontage Road. Proceed through the stop sign and you will find the park on your left.

Local Attractions
Campers will find plenty to do while they are staying at Carolina Landing. They can visit the nearby lake and go boating and fishing, and even water skiing. Boat rentals are available at the lake.
Quite a few other attractions are within driving distance as well. The South Carolina Botanical Gardens in Clemson are only about 15 miles away, and they are a fun place to visit and take pictures. Everyone in your family can have a great time when you head to the Greenville Zoo in Greenville, SC. It's only around 42 miles away, and you will be able to drive there in no time.
