Cottonwood Grove RV Park Offers a Great Location in Kansas
If you are looking for a great place to stay with your RV when you are traveling to or through Kansas this season, you will find a great little RV park located near Hesston, Kansas. Cottonwood Grove RV Park is a small campground, but it has some nice amenities for those who are seeking a nice, quiet rural vacation. The campground has a great location that is close to some popular attractions.
Amenities at Cottonwood Grove RV Park
The campground has 22 sites for RVs, and the sites are large enough to accommodate RVs that are up to 40′ long. Full hookups for water, sewer and electric are available and they have 30 and 50-amp service. You will be able to find shaded lots as well as open lots. Telephone hookups are available at your site as well. The campground features many conveniences that aren’t necessarily associated with their sites as well. Tent spaces are available for those who do not have an RV.
Those who stay at the campground will find onsite restrooms, which are clean. Showers are available onsite as well. One of the nice features of Cottonwood Grove RV Park is the onsite laundry. Having a laundry facility onsite is going to save you time that you can use to relax. By doing your laundry onsite, you don’t have to worry about spending so much time finding at Laundromat in the area.
Campers will be able to go fishing and hiking, and the campground has a comfort station. The location of the campground could be considered an amenity in and of itself! You will be just across the highway from an 18-hole golf course. Tennis courts and a swimming pool are nearby as well. A new restaurant, Aggies, is located close the campground as well.
Guests will be able to keep their pets with them at the campground. However, you have to make sure that you have your pets on a leash if they are out of your RV. You always need to make sure that you clean up after your pet as well.
How to Reach Cottonwood Grove RV Park
When you are traveling along the I-135 to Hesston, take Exit 40. Continue east for 400 feet and you will see the RV park. Finding the park is easy.

Local Attractions
Visitors will be able to find plenty of great attractions that are only a short distance from the campground. The Maxwell Wildlife Refuge is a great place to visit for those who want to get a glimpse of rural Kansas. You might be able to spot some wildlife as well.
Campers will be able to head into Hesston and visit the Dyck Arboretum. You can learn quite a bit about botany and all sorts of plants at this campground. Those who are staying at the campground will also be able to visit the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson. You can learn about the history of space exploration, World War II and much more there. It's an interesting trip for the entire family.
