Amenities at Happy Camper RV Park
The campground underwent a recent remodel. It offers 54 sites for RVs including pull-thru sites that will make it easier to pull your vehicle into and out of the spaces. The spaces at the park are large and they are able to accommodate RVs that are up to 70′ long. You will find full hookups at the campground for water, sewer and electric with 30 and 50-amp service available. Free wireless Internet is available at the campground as well. Tent sites are available and you can rent cabins too.
The campground offers clean showers as well as a few RV supplies that you might need during your travels. The coin-operated laundry is nice so you don’t have to load up your baskets and try to find a laundry facility in one of the nearby towns. Campers will love that the Stollsteimer Creek runs through the campground and many of the sites are right on the creek. You will also find walking trails through the campground. Kids will love the play area.
The park is pet friendly, but you need to make sure you keep them on a leash and clean up after them. You can also take your horses to the campground. They have a horse corral onsite.
How to Get to the Happy Camper RV Park
The campground is located just 5 miles west of Pagosa Springs on Highway 160. If you are coming from Durango, you will find that the campground is just 160 miles east of the city along Highway 160.
