The Landing Campground is a Great Vacation Destination
New York is a great place to vacation, and you can find quite a few places to take your RV through the upper portion of the state. Everyone has to remember that NY has far more to offer than just Manhattan! When you are looking for a great place to spend your next vacation in an RV, consider staying in the area near Blossvale. The Landing Campground is only about 2 miles from Sylvan Beach and only a short drive to places such as Utica and Syracuse. The campground has some excellent features and amenities that visitors are going to appreciate as well. The campground is open from April 30 until September 30.
What Does the Landing Campground Offer?
The campground has 74 RV sites, and the sites are large enough to accommodate RVs that are up to 40′ long. You will find full hookups for water, sewer and electric for the sites too. Cable television and wireless Internet is available at the campground as well.
The campground also has clean restrooms and showers, as well as laundry facilities where you will be able to keep your clothes clean. Having a nice, clean laundry facility at your campground is always a nice feature! The campground also offers a bait store and a fully stocked camp store where you will be able to pick up some of the necessities that you need. On the weekend, they have bingo. You will be able to play mini golf, go swimming, go fishing in the creek and participate in some of the planned activities on the site.
How to Get to the Landing Campground
From the NY Thruway Exit 34 (Canastota), take Route 13 North to the stoplight in Sylvan Beach. Turn right onto Vienna Road and proceed 1.5 miles to Kellogg Road. Turn right and you will find the campground.
When you are coming from the NY Thruway Exit 33 (Verona), you will take Route 365 North for a quarter of a mile to Route 32 West. Take Route 13 North to the stoplight in Sylvan Beach. Turn right onto Vienna Road, and proceed 1.5 miles to Kellogg Road and turn right to enter the campground.

Local Attractions
Whenever you are on vacation, you are going to want to make sure that you take some time to explore the area in which you are staying. You want to find some interesting sights to see and things to do, and the area around the Landing Campground offers plenty.
If you want to try your luck, you can always head to the Turning Stone Casino. It's a great place to spend a few hours amidst the lights and sounds of the game floor. Visitors will also be able to visit nearby Sylvan beach, which is only about 2 miles away. Because the larger cities of Utica and Syracuse are nearby, you may want to visit those areas to check out some museums or to try one of the many restaurants.
