Everyone Will Love Loretta Lynn’s Ranch
One of the most famous residents of the state of Tennessee is Loretta Lynn, the country singer. Most people know Coal Miner’s Daughter as one of her many hit songs, and now you will even be able to stay with your RV at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, one of the state’s premier and beloved RV parks. The campground features some nice amenities, and it has a nice location that is only a short distance from quite a few popular attractions. The RV Park is open from March 31 until October 31. You will find many things at this park that you just aren’t going to be able to find at others.
What Does Loretta Lynn’s Ranch Offer?
The campground features 200 sites for RVs, and they are able to accommodate RVs that are up to 40′ long. They have full hookups for water, sewer and electric as well as water and electric only sites. They offer 30 and 50-amp service. While the RV sites don’t have wireless Internet access or satellite service, the ranch has so many other features and amenities that it more than makes up for it.
The campground has restrooms and showers as well as a swimming pool where you can cool off when the weather gets warm. In addition, you are going to find several gift shops and even museums, including a Native American artifact museum, right on the property. You can take a tour of Loretta Lynn’s Plantation Home as well as take a tour of a simulated coalmine. You can visit a replica of the Butcher Holler Home, where young Loretta grew up.
You will find a café, a snack shop, paddleboat and canoe rentals, fishing and golf cart rentals to help you get around the campground easily. If you are a Loretta Lynn fan, this is the only place to stay in Tennessee. If you aren’t a fan, you will be once you stay here and learn more about her!
Campers will be able to bring their pets with them to the campground, but you must keep them on a leash during the day. At night, make sure you bring them into the RV with you. It is important to clean up after them.

From the I-40, take Exit 143 and proceed for 7 miles north on Highway 13 S. It is easy to find.

Visitors will find so many great attractions and things to do right at the ranch, that it might seem almost impossible to make time for other attractions in the area! When you do venture out to explore, you can find some wonderful things to do.
You can head into the town of Hurricane Mills and find some places to shop and have something to eat. You can also take an excursion to Nashville, which is only 65 miles away, and visit all of the city's various attractions. Campers will also find some places to hike, such as the Meriwether Lewis Loop Trail and the Narrows of Harpeth Hiking Trail.
