Everyone has heard the famous saying from The Wizard of Oz that there’s no place like home, but when you take your RV to the Seven Winds RV Park near Liberal, Kansas, you can get quite close! This RV park can make a great place for your next vacation destination. The park is in the southwestern portion of the state and it is only about 5 miles to Tyrone, Oklahoma. You will find quite a few nice amenities at the park, which is small enough to retain a homey feeling. When you are looking for a stellar place to stay whether you are going to be visiting for a night or a week or longer, the Seven Winds RV Park is a great choice.
What Features Does the Park Offer?
The Seven Winds RV Park has 30 sites for RVs, and the sites are quite large. In fact, they are large enough to accommodate RVs that are up to 80′ long. This should be large enough for most people’s RVs as well as a tow car. You will find pull-thru sites as well as back-in sites at the campground. They have full hookups for water, sewer and electric with 50-amp service. In addition, they have a dump station at the campground for your convenience. Campers will also find some tent sites to use if they are traveling without an RV.
The Seven Winds RV Park has wireless Internet so you will be able to keep up with all of the happenings in the world and in your social circles. You will find quite a few things to do while you are at the campground as well, and you certainly do not have to spend all of your time online! Play basketball, darts or just enjoy a walk along the grounds.
You will be able to have a continental breakfast in the mornings as well as complimentary coffee and tea upon arrival. On Saturday nights, they have social suppers where you can get to know other campers. The restrooms and showers are clean, and you even have access to the onsite laundry room.
Directions to the Campground
The campground is just 3 miles west of Liberal. Take the Old Highway 54 off ramp and turn left at the stop sign. Follow the highway around and proceed for about half a mile on the right.

Local Attractions
Visitors will find quite a few things to do while they are staying at the Seven Winds RV Park. You will be able to spend your time relaxing at the park, or you can head into the nearby surroundings to visit some attractions. One of the popular area attractions is the Coronado Museum. The Liberal Air Museum, which is only a short distance from the campground, is a nice excursion as well.
You will also want to make a trip to Dorothy's House is you are a fan of The Wizard of Oz! The house, now a museum, is located in Liberal and it takes only minutes to reach by car.
