Utah is a wonderful place to visit for those who want to experience the great American West the way it should be. Campers who are traveling in their RV will find some excellent places to stay, and the Spanish Trail RV Park near Moab, UT is one of the best. The campground is located close to many of the natural wonders in the area, and it is only about 3 miles south of downtown Moab. The park offers some great views of the La Sal Mountains and beautiful sunsets. It’s the perfect place to return after a long day of exploring the area around Moab.
What Does the RV Park Offer?
The Spanish Trail RV Park has 63 shaded RV sites. The park has wide roads that will make it easy for you to get through with your vehicle. They have 51 pull-thru sites of their 63 spots, and the pull throats will make it even easier to park and move your vehicle. The standard sites are able to accommodate RVs up to 45′ long, and the premium sites can accommodate an RV and tow vehicle up to 75′. The sites have full hookups for water, sewer and electric with 20, 30 and 50 amp service. You will also find free wireless Internet and cable TV at the campground. The park does not have any tent sites.
In addition to the large, grassy sites, you will find quite a few other amenities at the Spanish Trail RV Park as well. They have clean restrooms and showers, and even onsite laundry facilities. Handicapped facilities are available for those who are in wheelchairs. The campground features a large covered pavilion and more. You will be able to shop at the convenience store for anything that you might have forgotten at home too. The park is able to arrange tours for some of the most popular spots in the area as well.
Campers will be able to bring their pets with them to the park. However, you need to make sure that you keep them under control and clean up after them. Spanish Trail RV Park has a pet walk area that you can use.

The campground is quite easy to find. It’s along Highway 191 just 3 miles south of Moab. Look for it on the west site of the highway just across from the Shell Gas Station.

Local Attractions
Visitors will find plenty of great things to do while they are staying in the area. With so much great wilderness to explore, it's nice that the park is only minutes from some of the most popular destinations in the state. Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park are close. Dead Horse State Park is just a short drive away as well.
The Moab Golf Club is only half a mile from the campground, which should be great news for those who love the sport! You can also make some time to visit the town of Moab and find some interesting shops and places to grab a bite.
