Experience Kansas at the Springlake RV Resort
Traveling across the country will provide you with a great adventure, and you will find some great places to visit along the way. Whether you are going to be spending just a few days in the area of Halstead, Kansas or you are going to take a longer vacation in the area, the Springlake RV Resort is a great place to stay. This resort has all of the amenities that you will need in order to have a great trip. It is only 12 miles from Newton and just 4 miles from downtown Halstead. You will also love that this campground is open throughout the year.
Amenities at Springlake RV Resort
The campground is the largest in the state and it offers 180 sites for RVs across 93 acres. Most of the sites at the campground will be able to accommodate RVs that are up to 40′ long, although they have a limited amount of sites that are able to hold larger RVs. They have full hookups for water, sewer and electric as well as partial hookup sites. Some sites are shaded and others are open. They offer pull-thru and back in sites. A dump station and 4 comfort stations are available for your convenience. They also offer tent sites.
You will have free wireless Internet at the campground. They have a propane center, showers, restrooms and a laundry area. In the evenings, you can gather around the fire rings and tell ghost stories. Take a dip in the pool in the summer so you can get cool. It’s a great place to stay for the entire family. Campers will be able to bring their pets to the park, but make sure you keep them on a leash and clean up after them.
Directions to Springlake RV Resort
From the I-135, take Exit 30 and proceed west for 12 miles on Highway 50. Turn south onto Spring Lake Road. Proceed for an eighth of a mile to the RV Resort in Halstead. If you are coming from Hutchinson, proceed east on Highway 50 for 20 miles to reach the park. From Salina, take the I-135 South to Exit 48. Follow Country Road south through Moundridge and proceed south for 14 miles to Highway 50. Turn right (west) onto the 50. Proceed 2 miles to Spring Lake Road, turn left and proceed to the resort.

Local Attractions
Campers will always be able to find plenty of interesting things to do while they are in the area. Even though the campground offers quite a few things to keep you busy, you might want to head out and see what else is available. The Bethel Trails are a great place to go hiking and get out into nature. Another popular attraction is the Halstead Heritage Museum. This is a great place to learn more about the history of the area.
Visitors will also find that the Wedgewood Golf Course is a great option if you are a golf lover. The course is located only a short distance from the campground.
