The newest of these parks near Lander might just be the best one yet. Twin Pines RV Park and Campground is a small park, but that doesn’t mean that it skimps on the amenities. In fact, you will be able to find plenty of features to love about this park. One of the nicest features is that the campground is open throughout the year, so you don’t have to worry about getting time off in the middle of summer for a vacation. It is only 8 miles from Lander.
Campground Amenities and Features
The park features 20 RV sites, all of which are level and offer full hookups for water, sewer and electric with 30 and 50-amp service. All of the RV sites at the campground are pull-thru, so you will never have to struggle getting your RV into and out of the space. The spaces are large as well, and they can accommodate RVs that are up to 65′ long. Free wireless Internet is available as well. When you arrive at the campground, they have someone who will escort you to your site so you make sure that you are in the right spot. In addition to the RV spaces, they have grassy, shaded tent sites available.
The campground also has some wonderful features that campers will appreciate. You will find onsite bathrooms and showers, which are clean. They also have an onsite laundry facility, which is clean and convenient. You will be able to bring your pets to the campground, but you need to make sure that they are on a leash and that you clean up after them.
Campers will be able to play horseshoes and volleyball, and you can buy propane and ice onsite. They also have snacks and cold drinks available onsite. The views of the mountains are unbeatable, and Twin Pines RV Park and Campground even has an onsite pond. Campers can meet one another and enjoy the nightly bonfire too!
How to Get to Twin Pines RV Park and Campground
The campground is located just 8 miles south of Lander on State Highway 789/287. It offers easy on and off access to the highway.

Sink's Canyon has some wonderful places to go rock climbing. You can also spend some time in one of the old gold mining towns in the area such as South Pass City. Of course, since you are only a short distance from Lander you should head into the town and visit some of the local establishments.
