You can find some great places to go camping here, and one of those places is the Twin Shores Camping Area. The resort is on the North Shore of Prince Edward Island, and it is open from June 1 until October 2 each year. The campground features some great amenities that everyone who owns an RV is going to appreciate.
What Amenities are at Twin Shores Camping Area?
One of the great things about Twin Shores Camping Area is the location. The resort gives visitors access to 2 very different shorelines. One of the shores has white sand beaches and the other one has red sand.
You will find 600 RV sites at the resort and 107 of those sites are pull-thru. The campground offers full hookups for water, sewer and electric as well as partial sites with water and electric and dry sites. They have 20, 30 and 50-amp connections. Wireless Internet is available at the campground as well. The park also has a dump station for your convenience.
Campers will find clean showers and restrooms at the campground as well as laundry facilities. You will be able to visit the camp store, which offers RV supplies, snacks and other sundries that you might need. They have a coffee shop, nightly movies, a recreation center and much more. You will be able to go hiking, fishing, biking and kayaking. Play basketball, horseshoes, soccer, softball and shuffleboard. Twin Shores Camping Area even has a playground for the kids. Campers will be able to bring their pets to the campground, but they have to keep them on a leash and clean up after them.
How to Get to Twin Shores Camping Area
The campground is located 15 km north of Kensington off Route 20. You will turn left onto Lower Darley Road and proceed 5 km to Darnley Beach. You will see the entrance to the park on your right.

Visitors to the campground will find that the area has quite a few interesting places to visit and things to do. Those who love the outdoors and all of the adventures that come along with being out in nature will always find plenty to love when they visit Prince Edward Island.
One of the popular things to do is take a hike or bike ride along Confederation Trail, which meanders along the island. You will be able to visit wetlands, hardwood forests and quaint villages on the trail. Another popular activity in the area is seal watching. You will be able to find quite a few places around the edge of the island that offers great views of the seals. Visitors can find some great places to go golfing as well. In fact, you will find more than 30 golf courses across the island!
